Borneo Khatulistiwa: Journal of Community Service
GENERAL INFORMATION
- Originality and Plagiarism
- Manuscripts submitted to Borneo Khatulistiwa: Journal of Community Service must be original works that have not been previously published and are not under consideration for publication elsewhere.
- Authors wishing to withdraw their manuscripts during the editorial or review process must submit a formal withdrawal letter to the Editor, stating clear reasons for the withdrawal.
- The journal employs plagiarism detection software to screen all submitted manuscripts. Manuscripts identified as containing plagiarism or exceeding the journal's similarity threshold will be rejected.
- Author Contributions
- All authors listed in the manuscript must have made significant contributions to the community service activity and the preparation of the article.
- Author contributions (e.g., program planning, activity implementation, data collection, data analysis, manuscript preparation, and substantive revision) may be described in Form A.
- All authors are responsible for the content of the published article.
- Form A
- Form A includes author responsibilities, publication charges, conflict of interest statements, and copyright transfer agreements. This form must be completed and submitted together with the manuscript.
- Ethical Compliance
- Manuscripts must comply with ethical research standards.
- Studies involving human participants or animals must include details of ethical approval (e.g., the name of the ethics committee and approval number).
- Journal Scope
Borneo Khatulistiwa: Journal of Community Service accepts articles reporting community service activities from various disciplines, including but not limited to:
- Community empowerment and social development.
- Agriculture, food security, and rural development.
- Animal husbandry, fisheries, and aquaculture.
- Education, training, and community capacity building.
- Public health and health promotion.
- Appropriate technology and engineering applications.
- Information technology and digital transformation.
- Environmental management and sustainable development.
- MSME development, entrepreneurship, and creative economy.
- Law, public policy, and legal awareness programs.
- Renewable energy and environmentally friendly technologies.
- Social, cultural, and humanities development.
- Innovation and multidisciplinary community service programs.
- Publication Frequency
Borneo Khatulistiwa: Journal of Community Service is published twice a year, in June and December.
- Submission Process
- Manuscripts and Form A must be submitted electronically through the Open Journal Systems (OJS) of Borneo Khatulistiwa: Journal of Community Service at https://journal.icts.or.id/index.php/bjts/index.
- Authors are required to register an account before submitting their manuscripts. All submission, review, revision, and editorial communications are conducted through the journal's OJS platform.
- Manuscripts that do not comply with the journal template and author guidelines may be returned to the authors for correction before entering the peer-review process.
